We are the University of Maryland Law Democrats and our mission is to provide a forum for Democratic ideals to be promoted to all students of the law school community. We have been established to encourage students to analyze how the law and Democratic ideals interact and to encourage student participation in local and national Democratic campaign activities.

Election Party
The LawDems, Republican Law Society, UMALL, and BarBri will be co-sponsoring an election party on November 4th. The party is from 8pm to 11:45pm in the Comcast Dining Area and Room 107. The party is free for all students. Each student can bring 1 guest. Guests will pay $5 for food or $10 for food and alcoholic beverages.
Inauguration Trip
We are currently planning a trip to D.C to watch the inauguration parade and swearing-in ceremony. Details to follow.
